Well... last night was exciting, huh?
Today I woke up at 7:30am and drove to Ocala, Florida to spend the day with my Uncle Bruce, Aunt Amanda, Daniel
and Blake. Man, did they take care of me. I pulled up to their house to see a sign reading "Trackbrad.com Rest Stop." They weren't kidding either...
I spent the afternoon eating great food like lasagna for lunch, steaks for dinner, cobbler, ice cream... wow. It was amazing. We talked pretty much
from the time I arrived until I finally retired to type this journal. It was a great, relaxing and re-energizing day to prepare me for my final kick before
returing home. They have really overwhelmed me with love, support, food and encouragement! Tonight, I'm sleeping on a bed in a (real) house, with a shower and no drunk drag-racers. Life is good. Thank you Bruce, Amanda, Blake and
Daniel. If I had levels of supporters, you guys would be "Endowed Diamond."
Tomorrow I am making the long drive
to Key West before heading through the Everglades and up through western Florida. Home is so close -- I can't wait! Tomorrow will also be a big day for my
truck -- I will pass the 100,000 mile mark on my odometer!
